ALPHARETTA, Ga. – February 4, 2020 – Ciox, a leading health technology company, today announced that its Vice President of Provider Solutions and Revenue Cycle, Geoffrey New, was recently named as an AHIMA (American Health Information Management Association) Fellow.
The Fellowship program is comprised of AHIMA members who have earned recognition for significant and sustained contributions to the Health Information Management (HIM) profession. The purpose of the Fellowship program is to recognize meritorious service, excellence in professional practice and HIM education, and advancement of the profession through innovation and knowledge sharing.
“On behalf of the entire Ciox organization, congratulations to Geoff for his achievement of AHIMA Fellowship. He joins peers Nancy Kadish and Patty Sheridan as AHIMA Fellows within the Ciox family,” said Jason Brantley, General Manager and Senior Vice President of HIM for Ciox. “Geoff is a trusted advisor and a forward-thinking, dynamic and synergistic leader. He embodies the core values of the Fellowship Program – service, innovation, excellence, and advancement.”
Geoff New joins a registry of only 205 total AHIMA Fellows worldwide. He joined Ciox in 2017, with more than 25 years of achievement and performance in revenue cycle operations and health information administration. New is the third member of the Ciox team to achieve Fellow status and the first to receive the honor since 2012.
“Joining the ranks of my peers as an AHIMA Fellow is an honor,” said New. “While the distinction of Fellow is conferred to me, the achievements and accomplishments that qualify me have always been and will remain a team effort. For that reason, I am proud to serve as a valuable role player for Ciox, a leader in health information management.”
