Introduction

In this webinar, researchers from the REACHnet and PRACnet research networks will discuss the challenges they've encountered in linking data for academic research, and share an ideal framework for how clinical and health plan partners can work together in the future to link data for research purposes. Walking through The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Network Antibiotics and Childhood Growth Study: Implementing Patient Data Linkage as a case study, we'll hear about how the researchers navigated the technical and regulatory requirements of multiple partners and their learnings from the experience.

Webinar goals:
1. Describe necessary components of real-world data linkage between clinical and health plan partners
2. Outline an efficient governance and technology model for data linkages
3. Share key findings of privacy preserving data linkage on a PCORnet antibiotic study
